Returning to APCD

Library I work at is now closed for the foreseeable future.

Thought I might give course building another go to pass some time. Thought I would do a basic course using this course as a template https://www.almoujgolf.com/18-hole-course/, especially as there as so few courses from the Middle East.

Good luck with it Whenever I looked for championship courses in the Middle East to potentially make someday I always struggled to find one with a layout that looked exciting to me, but I like the look of that one

There are quite a few worth looking at, but I'm trying to avoid the ones running through estates of houses.

Was hoping to use Google Earth and input elevations manually for this course, but a lot of the course is showing as being at the same height as the sea!

Will have to think about how to approach this as the sea and dunes are an important part of the course

In case you are using metric system in GE, you can change to feet in settings to get over 3 times as accurate readings, but yes it might be of little help since it seems to be a low accuracy GE area :/

I've decided to work on my own desert course called Wahat Al Sahraa (Desert Oasis) based around 3 lakes, and over 7200 yards in length.
