So the course (Dan's version) is very far from being finished, but Im thinking I might be able to get a playable alpha version out in time for The Match for those who dont mind playing an unfinished course just to get to play along - Google says coverage starts on Tuesday 6:00 p.m. ET - is that correct? I dont plan on uploading it to the course database, just provide a dropbox link, and I will likely not upload it before Tuesday.

For the alpha version (if I get it ready at all):
-The planting will just be hastily added placeholder trees with Forest Planting (which will all be replaced for the final later on) - a lot of clones probably, and wont represent the final planting set at all, and trees will not necessarily be in all the right places (although I can probably manually plant some of the trees that would most commonly impact gameplay). There will probably not be any underplanting like grasses and bushes.
-There wont be hole previews.
-There will probably not be any logo, splash screens, custom flags etc, or maybe some placeholder ones.
-The pano is currently a placeholder one, but it might do for the final too, depending on how much it ends up showing after planting.
-I dont know if there are any OB ares on the real course, if so, they will probably be missing.
-A lot of other aspects in general will be subject to change for the final version later on.

Other than the planting being a very rough approximation of the real thing for the alpha, in terms of gameplay it will be very accurate (unless they have done changes to the layout in the past few years).

I havent really had time to test it myself more than the tiniest bit, so if anyone finds any problems let me know and I can probably fix them tomorrow and upload a new version just before the Match.

The placeholder pano I had made looked too ugly in Links so I deleted it - no pano.
