This is a nice real desert course by Art Patscheck. Real course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. It plays fine in Links 2001 but it has the red sky problem when playing in Links 2003. It was discussed somewhere here that the red sky problem was an asphalt texture causing the problem so I opened the course in the designer. There is an asphalt texture behind tee box #1 so I changed the texture to something else, saved, and It got rid of the red sky problem. Now it plays just fine. For the heck of it, I tried changing a different texture elsewhere and the red sky came back so beware, I guess.

It's safest to replace the stock Asphalt and Concrete textures on the whole course when trying to combat this red sky problem, otherwise the red sky problem can still show up at certain parts of the course. One can achieve this in APCD fairly quickly with Terrain > Face > Select > All of type . There may be other stock textures causing it too, but Asphalt and Concrete (both of them near the top of the stock texture list) are the ones Im certain of.
