Mick Prendergast - now there's a name out of Links history. While transferring from ancient USB drives starting to fail, I ran across a 7 disk set I got from Mick. Courses, instructions, players, just a ton of good stuff. We unfortunately parted ways before he died, but he was marvelous for the Link...

As I played this superb recreation, it occurred to me several times that the actual place must be mostly amazing. How do you get any golf played when all you want to do is take a seat, stir your drink, and watch the scenery?

Wow. Could not have been two days ago I was playing a course, can't remember which, when the ball landed near the green and bounced in the weirdest way I'd ever seen. I almost saved the shot, but figured it must have just been an aberration. Yeah...kinda like real golf....lol...
