Hi everyone,
Has anyone run across this error and if so is there a solution? You can see my ball after I chipped it ( bottom of error message ).

If it happens again in that same place, you may be able to find out something, but I have my doubts. Any number of things could've caused that error to happen - and it could be something in your PC or something in Links or something in the course - or even a combination of some of those things. I spent my career trying to find errors, but unless you can reproduce them again and again, they're really hard to find.

Is that course from a DEM? I don't recognize it but looks fun!
If it is from a DEM it likely has too many verts in the reflective water. The water area internal verts need to be substantially simplified and flattened. I ran into a likely similar issue with Augusta.

I'll give that a try Linkster.............I have not yet done that and I usually do. I'll let everyone know the result.
The course is The St. Andrews Golf Club in NY, you did the awesome lidar elevations for me.
You are known to me as "The lidar Guy".......!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL...!!!!!!!!

Were you able to repeat it
before you tried Linkster's suggestion? Just curious.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Glad that the suggestion worked for you Sage!
St. Andrews Golf Club looked like it had a lot of character when I did the DEM import. Looking forward to seeing it completed!
