Links for Windows 10
Hello,
I have been having a lot of issues trying to get Links to run on my new computer. It has windows 10. I have tried a couple of fixes that proshop has suggested but it has not helped. Any suggestions?

Re: Links for Windows 10
Have you got Links running with Administrator privileges? Do you have a separate graphics card or an Intel one?

Re: Links for Windows 10
Don't install Links into Program Files
Install game
Install v1.07 patch
That's all that should be needed to get it to run.
If it doesn't work or work perfectly, tell us exactly what is happening.

Re: Links for Windows 10
I have tried downloading it again and still no go.
My computer has an Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620.
I am running as Administrator.
It keeps coming up with "it runs minimum 800 x 600"
Any ideas?

Re: Links for Windows 10
Sounds like you need to run the Nvidia graphics patch. It has more to do with giving you widescreen than Nvidia. Doesn't matter what video card you have.

If everything is working and the only issue is 800x600 resolution check page 1, post 2 for "how" and page 2, post 3 for "to what"

I have had only one issue with running Links 2003 on my laptop with Windows 10 and that was when I played around with the sky settings. I had to completely deleted Links and then reinstall it. I applied every patch there was including the Nividia patch. No issues what so ever playing Links. DO NOT CHANGE THE SKY SETTINGS!

Re: Links for Windows 10
Win 10 can cause completely different issues for different hardware. It can also cause issues that were never there before with same software on same hardware. eg You installed Links 3 years ago and it worked perfectly. You re-installed today and suddenly have issues. This can happen because Win 10 continually updates itself. Best to never uninstall a working program in Win 10 unless it is absolutely necessary.

I'm sure some can fill in 13 and 14. I believe 15 is the largest possible value.
