Adelade, I believe I'm supposed to do the pins after the early bugs are taken care of. Right, Sage?

Hello Sage, if I may .... on Hole 10 the distance from the furthest tee to the fairway is 230 meters or about 250ish yards... As someone who plays with gusty wind or higher all the games .. I seem to have always a headwind there (5-6 games in practice mode and taking quite a few more practice drivers).. When the wind is a strong headwind, it becomes really hard to reach the fairway and I do not notice any place to try to park the ball safely when really the wind makes it nearly impossible to play for the fairway. I played this course many times in World Golf Tour and I recall that this hole is not an easy one, but I do not recall needing to nearly max out the drive just to reach the fairway.
Also, and this is more about computer technical stuff. This course is beautiful and I enjoy it a lot, but of all the courses I have ever played this is the one that takes the longest time to load every hole. It is not just one, it is all of them. I have to put my CPU in overclock for the holes to load normally like all other holes I have played in this game just using lower setting for my CPU. I wonder if there is a reason for this.
Thank you.

Hi MrT,
I can't change the reality of the course.
I don't know why the load times are so slow. Maybe someone can figure it out.

Redraws on wolf creak are really bad on my desktop. I think the tee on 14 was the worst. Using ps swing the ball wouldn't leave the tee for about 35 seconds and other redraw were taking almost the same. I started messing with picture quality in grafics settings and time delay wend down with the setting until I put it on the lowest setting and there was no delay at all. The wierd thing is , I could see very little difference in pictute quality. I left the setting on the lowest and finished the round. Since then I have played other courses and didn't see much picture change in quality. I now leave the setting at the lowest and am playing rounds in record times.

Your headwind problems are caused by your choice of conditions. Even breezy winds aren't realistic for every round of Links. Use dice to determine your wind choice for the round. And if you need more challenge - play the real game outside in the sunshine! Or play Links with Firm - Challenging Fast - challenging. And put your graphics slider in the lowest setting.

Hi,
There are different loading and rendering times.
1. Start of the course
2. Calculation after the click until Ani really tees off
3. the rendering or redrawing of the new location
Here are my times with high graphic quality with system: Win10 - Intel i7 4790 - VGA RTX3080 - RAM 24GB – M.2 Nvme 1TB
.

- Wolf Creek Beta Times.JPG (212.25 KiB) Viewed 6909 times
.
Ps. I don't think these longer times are so bad, I have time.
The putting is more noticeable to me here again, since I can't see the grid well, I have to do my putts in black and white.

It might be that the game is having difficulty rendering reflections in the non-flat reflective water, but then again it could also be something else entirely, I didnt check out the specific spots you guys mention.

Hi Sage Gang!
The elevations on this thing are ridiculous (that's not a criticism-just an observation!) I checked the website!
The real course was designed by Dennis and John Ryder-Sage in future please give these guys a WIDE berth!
I found a spot to the left of the 14th green near the waste area that has no terrain...I'm trying to find it now but it seems to have disappeared (like the terrain). If you miss the fairway left and end up in the waste area (a talent that I seem to possess) you should see it near the bottom of the hill close to the green.
I guess that a clubhouse isn't happening...just wondering...

Actually it's more of a small hotel for "Stayers and Players".
Otherwise-another stellar work-now I need a drink!
