Handicapped Courses..??

Hi Guys.

Ian thank you but my courses are far from the highest standard. I just love making courses and try to improve and innovate.

Is the plan to replace the existing course files, using the same LC ID number? If yes, can you please list out the courses that will be updated? Or... will Andy make it obvious that there are new course files available to download?

Hi Chad,

You already did Six Lake Pines. Why not take the other courses from the latest list of courses on LC and handicap them like Six. Send them to me like last time and I will re-issue them as handicap fix or something. We can ask Andy how he wants to approach the re-issue thing.

I dont understand, are these in the course database? I see nothing on the course pages that indicates they have been updated. I like that updates are being made, especially since I see you added hole previews to a few of the courses! But what is the plan here? Where are or where and when will they be available? Will the old ones be replaced or left alone? Will we be notified?

I've been waiting to check out Six Lake Pines to see if a newer version comes out or not, and its not really that I mind waiting, but its almost been a month now...

Hey Adelade,
I have completed the updates to Sage's courses that needed it. All courses along with a spreadsheet containing new course IDs and keys has been given to him. I believe that he's working with Andy on the best approach to get these released.

I see, no problem then, just wanted to know whats going on or if I had missed something.

It seems like the new course files have the exact same file names and name displayed within Links as the old versions they're meant to replace. Display name within Links is fine I guess, but it would help so, so much to prevent confusion if the new versions had a slightly altered filename at least
