Hi,

My only problem now is one I had way back when. After planting ( A lot of planting ) tons of grass, but not anything that should cause problems in my humble opinion, APCD goes into a loop of "program not responding". I can still save and exit out but it's a real pain in the ass..........

Any thoughts....???????

Plenty of thoughts. I'm having an issue with planting myself. It happens when I'm down close to the ground and forest planting tall thick grass. I'll plant an area, and then start looking around at it from different angles, moving in and out and up and down. It don't take long before the APCD stops rendering the textures. You know how they will go away as you are making moves, and then reappear when you stop? It reaches a point to where the textures just won't come back. At that point, it has crashed and I lose all of the work I had done since I started that session. I'm guessing my viewing from all different angles is trying to take in or render into memory too many 2D objects and too many textures, and it when it reaches it's limit, PTTHHHHTTT. I'm going to stop looking around in all different directions after I forest plant that grass and do a lot of SAVE AS and EXIT functions each time I plant a thick area. I'm so close to being done with the planting, I just want to get that part done and move on to the final stages of completion. Here's on tip I will offer. Save the thick grasses for last. They definitely cause hangups as you are looking around and changing views. The less time they exist on the course, the better off you will be, IMHO.
