I went out in the late afternoon group, started simple enough, par to start, bogey on #2 with a 3 putt from 33 feet, found sand off the tee on #3 and #6 but made pars, made birdie at #9 to go out in 35, back nine started with a birdie at #10, hitting into the sand off the tee at #15 led to another bogey, chipped in for birdie at #16, approach shot to 6 feet led to birdie at #17, drove right at #18 but able to get approach shot to 24 feet but missed the putt to close with a par and come in in 33 shots for 34-33=67 3 under par for the round and tournament, 9 fairways, 14 greens, 29 putts. Happy with the round, missed a bunch of fairways but was able to get the ball on the green and scramble for par more often than not.

I will be attending a wedding tomorrow so if I get round 3 in tomorrow it will be late.

Jim,
I will be attending a wedding tomorrow so if I get round 3 in tomorrow it will be late.
By then you will know what to shoot to take the outright lead, - smart move.

Enjoy yourself tomorrow. :tiphat:

Well, my sports psychologist told me that I needed to play these greens again to get over my negative thoughts, so I played before the early starters.

After a par, I made a triple bogey. Psychologist is on borrowed time.
Made three consecutive birdies to go out in 36.
Lots of positive thoughts starting the back nine.

Sports psychologist left the course at pace after the 14th.

My score, 36/47 for a 83. :surrender:

I will spend tomorrow looking for a new sports psychologist, and leave my clubs in the bag.

Good luck to those still in the running. :tiphat:
