Linkster,
I played my first round at Augusta since your previous version, and it's such a good course to play.
The tournament objects look very good but playing with large crowds was not a pleasant experience for me. I haven't played with tournament objects and crowds since I first bought the game, but I never play along with the tournaments, so perhaps I would feel differently if I did.
I must complain though. There was one white haired guy who was standing 5 yards in front of me when I was making a chip, and he was talking on his phone! Where were the stewards?

Thank you for the new version.

That's a relief. I've been using your '24 course for tournament re-creations back to the 2016 pin positions, so I can use the '26 course when I go back and do them again. Also, the way you did the hole yardages has let me adjust to the real-life changes made over the years and for individual rounds of the tournament.

I got the same error code after trying to paste the CRZ file into the course folder. Just gave up and played the 24 version. :dunno:

I would suggest you download the zip file from LC, then unzip this file, it will create two more zip files, unzip these, then use the Links Course Manager to copy the file to the course folder, or to add it, leaving it where it is, to the course list.

To hopefully simplify matters, I have replaced the 2863.zip with a new version which contains just the .crz file plus the screenshots in native form instead of in separate zipfiles.

Hope this helps.

Hi everyone, I'm 46 years old, I've been playing Link for about 20 years and I still find this game absolutely wonderful, even more so when people build Augusta. I wanted to thank these people through this message, as well as the moderators of this site through my PayPal contribution that I just made. Thank you all for making us dream and for making us have fun in this world, which is very difficult and where finding time when you're a business owner and have two children becomes complicated. These few hours spent in front of my computer from time to time do me a world of good, and it's thanks to you, so a big thank you and take care. Bye-bye. Nico
