Hi everyone,
I have a lot of super long seam blends to do on this course.
Does anyone have a technique for doing long seam blends that they could describe their technique for me?

Thank........

Sage,
what is the difference from a seam blend and a "super long seam blend"?

Hi Ian,
The blue loop in my longest seam blend. A lot longer than say the seam blend around a fairway.

(For the best view, right-click the image and open in a new tab). Quote taken from Colin. Thanks Colin. :cheers1:

Sage,
I do not know a magic way to manipulate the edge of the seam inwards. With something like this I select blocks of sand texture in squares then use the uniform scale, something like this:

This way the edges of the seam, between first cut and fairway, move uniformly.
I don't know if this makes any sense, or if it makes you more confused :dunno: ?

Let me know if this makes any sense, I will be away from my computer for the rest of the day, so I can answer your questions tomorrow.

Good luck

Ian

Hi Ian,
Yes that makes sense. I can not do that in my case.
I think I'll end up splitting the long seams into sections.

Anyone else want to chime in on a solution???????

Sage,

This looks great. Can't wait to play!
What color will the dunes themselves be?

Thanks Jim,
Have not decided on a texture yet.

Still have all the other seam blending to do and planting. I will be assisted by Ron Weel again for planting other than forest planting.
