FWIW I have had the course crash on my Windows desktop with the Nividia HBA. 8th hole on the green.

Des,
It is very frustrating. It only occurs in certain location looking in a certain direction.
If you have time, and patience, could you take a look at this update?

Anyone is welcome to download this update, but it is NOT a final, there are still no hole previews

Ian,

The APCD could be a dictionary definition of frustrating!

Downloading, I just happen to be sitting at the very machine showing the problem.

Ian,

I played holes 7-9 in practice mode, I had only been having problems with holes 8 & 9, around 6 times, no problem seen. I then played 18 holes and likewise no problem, no doubt it needs other people to test it as well, I have only had problems on one machine out of the four I have.

While I know we all like reflective water, what you have done looks somewhat like a lake with a bit of choppy water, so I think a reasonable approach.

Des,
Thank you.
I will wait a week to see if any problems arise. It doesn't look likely that I will get permission to use the details of the yardage book so I will also make those before issuing the final version.

Thanks for the testing.

ian, great job on the course as always. i've played it a number of times now. And have not had any problems on 8 or 9. only issue i have is sometimes i get that opaque color on the water. but that's from not having the old dgvoodoo app. the new one doesn't address it.

Hi Ian,

I played both betas several times and didn't experience any of the problems mentioned here.
I had a HIO on the 12 Hole, I can't delete this beta from my hard drive anymore.

Great, varied course – thanks for your effort.
