Yeah, I wonder if some sports would even exist nowadays if not for gambling. People's tastes have changed and they want everything at a faster pace, probably due to instant phone gratification.
Now athletes are trying todo commercials saying that you should control your betting...as if...
They even have betting lines on curling...and no, I'm not kidding.
Interesting comments from Brooks Koepka; although having made approximately $43M since joining LIV, he still feels LIV is behind in its development, even after four years. Apparently, he was given a 7-figure sum just for joining LIV, which for most PGA players is a career-sized amount. But he feels with new leadership, advances will be made, especially in availability on TV. No mention was made of a possible merger with the PGA, so that appears to be dead at this point.
