Sage, my previous comment was:
"I discovered some planting issues and I didn't like the bunker surrounds, but I didn't post on those issues here, as I wasn't fond of the course anyway."
"Not fond" doesn't mean I hated it.
For example: I dated Melissa for several months but I never became fond of her.

Note: I like to play along with the weekly televised tournaments, if an equivalent APCD designed course hasn't been created then I choose a course that has some similarity. In this case Quintero, as it was desert with mountains in the background on some holes.

Cheers, Dave :cheers1:
I always wanted to write something intelligent in my signature. Now that I think about it, I guess I just did! :clapping:

On real life, i made 7 or 8 Holes in one on 10 years of play. The nicest was my first and here is its story :

2016, France, on a pitch and putt, 90 yards, downhill, ultrafast synthetic green, almost impossible to stop the ball on this shit !! I thought i was absolutely alone on the course, hole 7, i knew the ball will arrive at high speed on an extremely hard and ultra fast green. i knew i had to shoot this ball perfectly with a max of rpm. I knew I was one of the few club members to apply backspin to the ball on THIS green. Let's Go, Common! I put myself at address, I shot the ball, the impact sound was perfect, one of the most beautiful feeling of my "career", a true swishhhhhhhh bullet sound . I knew it was right at it ! And after a small spin, a few centimeters, the ball went into the hole so slowly, what a sensation ! Then I heard someone clap in their hands!!!!????? Feeling alone, I didn't know that there was someone behind me, watching me... this person approached me , told me "congratulations, I'm Fred, I am the new owner of the Golf Club, I was taking a little walk to appreciate my latest purchase. And what a pleasure to have been able to see that". He promised to offer me champagne at the Club. But this never happened  He never had the time.. We were in 2016, 2 years before the Ryder Cup in France and he was a member of the federation so that year he was very busy and often far away with his teams.. when I saw him again, he patted me on the back and said hi Tiger how are you? Then he always called me Tiger!!

There you go, that was my nice anecdote !!

Competitive golf is mostly played on a 25 cm course, the space between your ears.
