Tot Hill is still hanging around. Not really into working on it lately................ :dunno:

I can give you everything I have on the course and maybe you could test your APCD skills on it?

Is it my birthday today or something??? :notworthy:

Im no expert on Mexican courses but I would be super excited for any Mexican course with a yardage of at least 7000-7200 yards. If it can be found in some top 50 or top 100 list of best courses in Mexico or so that would certainly be nice too, and I suppose I also think championship courses play more fun in Links than resort courses. But yeah, any Mexican course that isnt too hard to make and you feel like doing, as long as it isnt horribly short or easy, I know I would love that. Someone else might be better at suggesting a suitable one.

What I know is Chapultepec is a pretty cool layout, and a better version than the one we already have for Links would be pretty neat, but I guess since Ive already gotten a taste of how that one plays. perhaps I would prefer something fresh. For that same reason, I guess I would prefer something other than Cabo Del Sol. I see that the last Mexican course to be featured on the PGA tour was Vidanta Vallarta for the Mexican Open 2024, I didnt see anything from it and so I dont know much about it, but it looks intriguing from just the first couple pictures I could find. Might be tricky with all the houses though(?)

You know me Adelade, I like something a little challenging. Let me look around and see what intrigues me and that Linkster can find lidar data for.

While I AM NOT Adelade, I think that Chapultepec is quite unique among the courses and a Hi-Fi version would be great. I play all my courses in F-F* and the greens on our current version of Chapultepec are too extreme. Improving the greens would make the course automatically great. The only un-solvable problem is that Chapultepec has very long par 4. Narrow too, but that is ok. In real life, because of the high elevation of the course near Mexico City, balls fly much further than in the game. Hence it is difficult to reproduce the length (and the difficulty) of certain holes since the ball does not travel as far as in real life.

I was, I am , and I will ever be a great estimator of Cabo del Sol. It is the course that relaxes more than any other. Greens are a bit sketchy as they date back to the age of Links when some T-Rex was still going around. The mix of terrain is great in my opinion.

I am sure that there are a few more, but I still think that Chapultepec is a gem of a course if the greens could be made less extreme.

I am having no luck finding Lidar data for Mexico. It would probably help if I knew Spanish. I'll keep trying but don't expect much.
