Up from the depths! I'm going to finish this off - honestly not crazy about this course but its a sort of prelude to Olympic, which is prob close to 50%. In order to do these mid to northern California courses I have to have good Monterrey Cypress trees. Back when I was doing this some great dude on here went out and took photos of them for me as he lived there, wish I could find the emails but I can't. So I'll be spending prob a month masking and creating new trees, hoping this works, I did a couple and they came out good but its been 12 yrs ago. Anyways, here is the aerial and hoping this can get out in 2 to 3 months. When I was at the US Open in 2012 as a photographer, I spent a day at Harding Park and took pics, its a beautiful course, very flat, giant Cypress trees, greens were just middle of the road for undulations. Harding Park was created off a 2' topo map, about all you could get for free back in circa 2010. This course looks like its going to be used alot of the tours, so will be nice to have a good version I think.
Next is Olympic, which is just an amazing golf course and so much elevation change!
I do have the 1" green contours for all the courses I'm doing btw - Harding Park, Olympic, Riviera, NGLA, all started yrs ago but never finished.

As an East coast person, I hadn't ever seen those cypress trees up close until I played Pacific Grove in Monterey and saw how great they looked on the front nine. They're incredible!

agreed, they are incredible standing next to them, one near the clubhouse is over 100' easy, trunks are massive, here are some more shots, this is hole #18, you can see them frame the green on the left side.

Thanks!
I actually once opened the APCD. Many years ago. Was overwhelmed in about 11 seconds, mostly by the fact that every Links course I ever played started off as the same blank screen I was now looking at.

I'm trying to hide verts, etc. but before I'd put ant BETA on the board I'd appreciate it if I could run an Alpha past Sage and his associates so they can nitpick it and give it a dose of my own medicina.. but like I said, If I'm not satisfied then I'll sit on it until I am.
BTW, that's a nice looking clubhouse.
