Since putting is at least half the game of golf I have tried to determine the best way to practice it. The questions I have are:
Is there a way, other then the way links has you do it? I would like to be able to actually use real golf courses.
Can I, somehow, put a ball on one of these greens and practice from there.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, in advance, for your assistance.

Re: Questions about putting.
What swing method are you using - classic 2-click or 3-click, real-time swing or powershtroke?

Im not sure what "the way links has you do it" is but
In Links 2003, go "Play Golf" menu > Practice > pick course and holes > select "putting only" or "chipping only". With "enforce normal drop rules" NOT selected you can left click and drag your ball before a shot to change location
