Facebook

I know Facebook is unpopular with many people and believe me, I'm no great fan but it has it's uses.

Should there be issues that make this site inaccessible then updates will be made on the Facebook group so it might be worth bookmarking if you are a facebook user.

Agreed, the main feed is a waste of time, but a lot of good, private user groups, I just added a request to join the group.

Long time fan of Links, I still have the CD's for 2000, and 2003.

I've declined a few requests to join the Facebook Group recently because the applicants have not answered both the compulsory questions.

So, if you have tried to join and been declined, that's probably why. :rules:

Holy mackinoly - this game is still alive. Hey all, Paul here, I used to play as Dali_Lama or LaMa_2k3 - back in LS98 - thru Links 2003 days. I played til things died off in 2007 or so - but have just re-downloaded the game and am looking for a few old - timers to play with again. I remember I actually drove to a Links real golf event in Canada in 2002 or so - wow - fun times. I work from home now so I have plenty of time! See ya's on the Links. I am in Arizona, so Mountain Time.

If I'm not mistaken I was at the tournament outside Toronto (in fact I think I organized it but the mind fades...)-there were about a half dozen of us.. I tool quite a few pictures of the group (I think we look a little different now). :scared:

I'll resize them and get them posted.

I'll put in a different thread-as the official "media director" the only person not in the pictures is me.

I wasn`t there but I believe the early one was to be played at golf course in Paris Ontario about an hours drive from Toronto. Lived in Cambridge at the time with a busy work load so was unable to go. I think that it was to be played in Paris. Could be right - could be wrong. :dunno:
Had played that course in Paris Ontario probably 1963 - 64 and all I remember about it - that it was hilly.
