My feeling would be that if they are there on the real course, put them there on your course also. If you hit into them at either place, you pay the possible penalty. That's golf.
Course is lookin' real good.
Dan
Hey Dan. Yeah, I am thinking pretty much the same.Still, I could go either way, lol. we will see what pans out
You dont like the option of making the area a drop hazard? Suitable for rocky areas normally, no? If they arent more dense than in your picture though, I think it should be fine, they're visually very obviously rock so if players try a greedy escape and hit them they know they have themselves to blame, and there should be no situation where they struggle to find a playable drop spot if they declare unplayable lie. If it was me, I would probably still make it a drop area, I cant imagine it wouldnt be marked as a red or yellow water hazard in real life (unless its OB). Ideally, Links would let players play from within hazards if they really wish to, but since that is not on the table, one has to satisfy with the next best option. Like Dan, Im not a fan of skipping the rocks altogether just out of player convenience, at least not unless one foresees possible situations that would be completely unfair and/or near-inescapable.
Finished Courses - Main: Amedal (fictional), Nine Bridges (real)

LMFAO....Thanks mate. I have played links and used the apcd so little the last 2 years that I had completely forgotten about not only the terrain flags in the apcd but also the abilty to take a drop in links......
Started filling in the gaps around the par 3 course in the centre of the plot...performance is still ok. I am wondering now it might be possible to plant the entire 36 hole plot as one...
Slowly working around the most tedious , and crash prone areas to plant. Namely the heavily forested areas to the left of the 10th, 13th and 16th holes....tough going..
