Re: Still learning new things about APCD...

Adelade,
I didn't know about the spacebar shortcut, but I do occasionally use the "lock selection" button.
What would be very helpful, especially when building in 3D, would be a way to keep groups of verts.
Have you
accidentally discovered
a means of doing this?

Re: Quintero Golf Club

Sage, Just a thought..... I have been having a problem with APCD with crashes, with one crash resulting in not being able to use the allocated version of APCD. I opened a new version of APCD and checked the number of verts on the course. (Glenn and Linkster posted previously regarding the maximum nu...

Re: Le Golf National and a new APCD technique

I was surprised at how good the graphics were, especially considering the number of hours spent, it is amazing. As I don't play Links, except for testing, I will leave the playability issues to those who do play regularly. On courses that I have rendered in APCD, I have always found it difficult to ...

Re: Gozzer Ranch final

Dan and Adelade, The Pano could definitely be the reason. I never consciously have the Pano selected, in any window, however, I do accidently put it on when trying to Display Shapes. If I don't notice it, which is easy, especially in the Top View display, it could well cause problems with the seam b...

Re: APCD crashing

Sage,
Been there, felt like that :wallbash: . Take a deep breath and a valium, and maybe even a drink or two (or three). Hang in there
I agree 99%, I’d go with a drink or two, or whatever is needed. :cheers1:

Re: Oak Quarry

Pete,
you are most welcome to see if you can do better than I did.

My comment was not meant as a criticism, it was supposed to be light hearted. I should have added a

I am sorry if my comment upset you. :tiphat:

Re: Oak Quarry

Sage, I thoroughly enjoyed playing Oak Quarry. I loved the shape and textures of the hill sides and the rock faces. As is usual with Dan's panoramas it was perfect, and Ron's planting is spot on. I played the course using pin 3 (Links) and must say that if those are the easy ones I dread what the di...
