Re: Wolf Creek beta
Hello Sage, if I may .... on Hole 10 the distance from the furthest tee to the fairway is 230 meters or about 250ish yards... As someone who plays with gusty wind or higher all the games .. I seem to have always a headwind there (5-6 games in practice mode and taking quite a few more practice driver...

Re: What is your average driving distance in APCD?
284 yds in my career playing RTS with the regular version of the game.. Over 300 yards if I play using Links 2003 Pro Distances. However, I do not like to play this version because I need to play by clicking. I also noticed that if you play Champ or Elite, distances are a bit more than playing just ...

Re: Wolf Creek beta
Hello Sage... Thank you for this beautiful course... Hole 4.. I ended up in the sand trap on the last bunker on the left of the green... It says "White Sand 1", but I am not able to select "Explode" or "Pick" usually associated with shots from the sand. It wanted me to ...

Re: Courses I'd like to see in Links 2003 Part 2
Of course, like I wrote several times in the past, a new Oakmont C.C. realized using LIDAR techniques could be a blast. Those greens are super famous for their features and the game that exists right now (still in beta) dates back to quite a few years ago. There may be a new lidar based Oakmont in ...

Re: Courses I'd like to see in Links 2003 Part 2
Not long ago I decided to play only at very hard green settings (equivalent to 13.5 stimp accoding to the most recent table I saw for this purpose). There is one course that, in my opinion is actually really great and unique, but is in need of some "tender and loving care", in particular f...

Re: What Skill Level to use?
I had switched to Champion over a year ago. It is a bit more challenging than Pro, but still quite playable, just less assistance and it seems to me less forgiving. Get a bit extra distance (I can see that from my top speed with the driver which, at the Pro-Elite level, reaches higher speeds than at...

Re: Mauna Kea Golf Course 2024
Mahalo nui loa ! Played at 13.5 Stimp... very nice... greens have a realistic feeling... Makemake au i kēia papa kolepa (I like this golf course). Hole 3 now it is actually possible to stop the ball on the green which was nearly impossible with the old original version playing on very fast greens. ...

Re: Course keeps crashing Links 2003 the game
The same happens to me. Almost immediately after I try to start the course. No warning, "nada", the game just crush. I thought that maybe I needed a faster processor, so I set my computer on high settings, but it makes no difference.

Re: Guess the course
That is great! It is perhaps the most unique course on WGT. Greens are particularly hard and hitting the ball seriously downhill allows for amazingly long drives. Sometimes, if the wind blows in the right direction, some daring shots can be attempted.
