Mr. Cristallo,
I just had the pleasure of playing a full 18 on your newest release, Yale Golf Course. First of all, I congratulate you on packing SO much detail and great textures and plantings into such a very reasonable file size! It looks like it should've been twice as large. I had no "playability" issues, except that on hole #8, the "hole" actually DID disappear while I tried to make my putt. I really liked your use of dark and light grasses on that heavy, sort of "unplayable" rough throughout the course. Nice touch. The only thing that sort of "stood out" to me was the fact that the surface texture on the greens wasn't all that much different than the fairways. Since I've never actually seen the course, I have no idea what the greens are really like, and for that matter, you probably wouldn't have made them that way , if they weren't accurate. I guess I'm just used to seeing some smoother green surfaces on other LINKS courses.
Other than that.....you've produced a really great addition to the LINKS course library! I think I'll be keeping it in my collection as well. I also want to welcome you back to the LINKS designer group, if you will. I'm looking forward to more good projects from you in the future!
Ron Weel
PS: If you somehow have a penchant for recreating College courses, I might recommend "University Ridge", in Madison, Wisconsin ( my home state). It's a really nice course, that hosts a "Champions Tour / Celebrity" event each year. Check it out !

Hi, thank you Weeler for your comments
I completely agree with you.
This course is far from perfection, I will to do better next time.
Unfortunately I hit the box of death, and a lot of cups are invisible, after 14 years I forgot a lot of things with this "buggy" program....
Thank you again.
