I too wish there were more French courses, I think it depends how tolerant you are of old courses or courses that were less popular so to speak.

For real courses, I believe Le Golf National Version 2 would be considered the best by most prople, there is also Golf Club des Volcans that I have been close to trying out for a long time but still havent gotten around to :wallbash: Then there is Guyancourt the beta which is listed as Fictional but Im pretty sure its real, I need to get around to giving that one a look too. Finally there is International Golf des Bordes. Im not aware of any others.

For fictional courses there is a better selection I believe, but I dont know much about them yet. Pont du Gard sure looks nice, Chateau Bourrache is pretty popular I believe, Ether Links @ Crozon Peninsula had a fairly good review score. There's also Golf de la Baie, Arsonval Golf Club, Bellecombe Village-Course, Golf de L'Ile de France, Chateau Ste. Andre. One might be able to make an argument that some of the fictional courses by Dominique Bois (who I think is French) that dont have a specified fictional location could be imagined to be French as well.

I know Sage said he has a new version of Le Golf National that he's been working on, I've planned on either trying to reach Max Deschamps to ask if it'd be possible for me to update his version, or ask Sage if he thinks he's planning on working more on his, or otherwise perhaps if I could finish it.

I'm thinking the Golf Club National in Guyancourt (Albatros Course). It hosted the Ryder Cup and was scheduled to host the 2024 Olympics.
Better get started!

Wow!

Maybe it would make up for Le Golf National having such terrible pins that it's virtually unplayable!

I checked out "Guyancourt - beta" and it turns out to be the same one course as well

Yes, same layout as Le Golf National (and "Golf Club National in Guyancourt (Albatros Course)" that Jimbo and pmgolf mentioned)
