I see the post that lists registry display mode numbers for resolutions up to 1920x1200, but that results in leaving everything else on the pc (Windows Explorer, Chrome, etc) at that resolution when I quit the game. My desktop resolution is 2560x1440. Are there modes I can use in the registry that will display the game in higher resolution than obtained by mode 15 (1920x1200)?

Mode 15 i.e. 1920 x 1200 is the highest available.

Also FWIW, you could run in windowed mode at that resolution and it won't impact your other running apps during the final mode switch when the app quits.

Thanks John, tried that but find windowed mode too small. I want full screen.

Links gets scaled to fit but as you have seen the screen does not redraw properly when you exit links, it happens on Linux too when the Links resolution is not the same as the native resolution. I lose the bottom of my desktop icons.

The only thing I can think of is if there is a command to reset the desktop and use a batch file to run it all. Perhaps restarting Windows Explorer may correct it.
