I have tried more recent versions of dgvoodoo with Links and they have not worked well, faulty water rendering to start with.

I would suggest you use the version pointed at to here in the Links forums. This is version 2.7.

Personally I have found version 2.55 also works well

I seem to remember someone having this problem. Maybe someone with a memory better than mine can think of what caused it.

** Idea! Did a "Search" on "Tech Corner" for "Top view" and came up with a solution.

Look for an entry in the videocard.txt file in Links for the "all in Wonder". You get a code when you run DxDiag or something like that. It was mentioned as a solution.
