The new version has been uploaded. This version fixes several bugs and also has a few new features.
1. When creating a tour, you can choose which year you want your tour to start with. So, if you are using legacy players, you may want to start your tour say in the 1950.s, 60's, 70's just to add a bit of realism. The player data is still from recent, but you can always update the player data.
2. You can now leave in the middle of your round and your progress will be saved to continue later. This applies to stroke play, match play, and stableford play. It does not apply if you are in a stroke play playoff.
3. For the real courses I pre-loaded in LVT, I tried to capture the course record and who holds it. When creating a league, you can elect to use those records or start with no course records. Then throughout your tour career, as a score beats or ties the course record, you will be notified. There is also a report now for course records. For fictional course of course they start off with no course record, so as you use them, course records will be established.
4. Currently legacy players just get their stroke data from other players in the database as there was no original data to use, and it is random. So, unfortunately sometimes say Jack Nicklaus may get data that is not indicative of his career. I added a feature that allows you swap player data with the top 10 players data on your tour. When you start your tour, you can select a player, then swap his player data with one of the top 10 player data set up on your tour. This will give him a better chance at having better scores. Of course, randomization does come into play, but at least he probably will not be shooting in the 80's.
Hope you enjoy....look for the new link soon.
