Wouldn't records depend on several factors? For instance:
1) choice of tees
2) choice of wind
3) choice of settings for green speed and hardness
3) choice of difficulty level of the game (Amateur, Professional, Champ, Elite)...

You're right, Mr T. Also, Swing Type: Classic, RTS, or PP. All 3 require a different skill set.

I'm glad you appreciated the post, mwc0914, but I do question the accuracy of AI. The first time, it showed that the course record at Turnberry was 63 by Tom Watson at the 1977 Open Championship. When I did the query again today, it indicated that the record of 63 was shared by Watson and Jack Nicklaus at the same tournament. When I looked at the wiki for that same tournament, it showed that the lowest round for both Watson and Nicklaus was 65. In reality, there was a round of 63 shot in the second round of that tournament, by American Mark Hayes. So, I guess AI gave us the correct information but the wrong person.
I'm guessing for the other courses that the record scores are at least directionally correct, which was probably your goal.
Geez, this is a sickness...
