Hi Everyone,
I noticed I was having planting problems about a week ago on my new windows 11 machine. I've been working to get it fixed but I have yet to figure out what's up. With "forest planting" which is what I do most here is one of the results.......can you see my problem?

So far in APCD this is the only issue I have encountered with windows 11.

In APCD all the trees show up but in Links only some show up, is that the problem?

Has it happened on several courses or just this one?

That is the issue.
I have yet to try other courses as I wanted to see if I could solve this one.
Let me try another course and I will get back to you.
I think it's a windows 11 thing. One of my other file manager programs is having issues displaying thumbnails in it's viewer pane.
Un Freaking believable what microsoft has done to us all..........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I can't work out what's wrong I will have to give up on the course. Maybe someone else wants to see if they have the same issues? In that case here is the course to give it a go...............

I'm not a designer so take this as you wish. Based on my past IT experience, if it is only one course file with the issue, that file contains an issue. I would think that if it were the OS or APCD, more thane one course file would be affected.

I have only seen this happen with crowds, and that is an issue that has been there from the start. I can't remember seeing anything like that before.

I opened the course file you provided and it shows no 2D objects planted ...

That's correct Linkster, I stripped all objects to see if anyone could produce my issue.

I opened the course and added 6 or 7 different Tall Trees using Plant Forest and it worked fine (95 trees in total).
My laptop is using Windows 11 Home version 23H2.
I hope you can solve this problem.

I don't know what I'm going to do at the moment. I'm getting different results with different configurations and planting sets depending on virgin planting sets as opposed to ones I have imported objects into. Sometimes they work on one course but not the other. Getting all sorts of results with nothing being consistent. I live for consistency......
Everything else works fine in APCD.

I am just going to concentrate on terrain for now.

I always hated planting real courses anyway..........
