Hi everyone,
I've always wanted to do this course in APCD. Danny D. was working on it but due to personal reasons he graciously passed his work on to me to complete. Danny was not able to use Linksters DEM lidar data on his computer but I am able to. I asked Danny if he would mind if I started from scratch using Linksters lidar DEM and he basically said go for it. So I am working on bringing the course to Links 2003 thru APCD.
I have the greens, water features and cart paths done. Next, the fun stuff....!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's a look at what I have so far............

Hi Sage. You won't be charging $1,000 a round to play it on Links will you?
This should be very exciting to play. Looking forward to it.

Sage, your course choices lately have been PRIMO, you're on quite a roll with these LIDAR courses. Much appreciated.

Hi Sage. Excited to this progressing. One thing so far. I get a checkerboard red sky on hole 3 and 4. On three tee rotate to about 2 o'clock. Also visble on hole four tee by looking back.

Holy Cow......this is one LONG course from the back tees ! Plus a 245 yd. par 3 ? WTH ? For a recreational course this one seems to cater to the really
"long ball" hitter. I'm sort of surprised. Regardless of the real life $1K green fees, there are people who probably play a round , just to say they "could". Regardless what skill level they may be.
This playable LIDAR Dem at least lets you know what the layout is like. But can't wait to see the finished project ! Sage.....this could be your
finest course, given time and attention. ( although you've already got some first rate ones out there ! ) Can't even list them all !!!
Thanks for taking this over from Danny. I PM'd him about it as well.....and he said he wasn't up to finishing it. So....who better to take it over !
