Still learning new things about APCD...

A small detail about APCD keybinds - perhaps a lot of you already knew about this, but I didnt until now when I accidentally discovered it.
If you mark one vert, or any number of verts, and then press space, the selection "locks" itself in place and you can use tools such as Move, Rotate and Scale without having to actually hold the mouse over any of them while clicking to activate the tool, you can click on a different spot and still the tool will work on your selection of verts. It seems to work the same with Edges and Faces too, and in both the Perspective and Top view, perhaps all other views as well. You have to remember to press space a second time though in order to unlock the selection.
Im not sure how useful that trick might be, if at all, but perhaps it could be nice if one gets sick of having to aim the mouse so precisely at the correct vert(s) when adjusting elevations, for example.
Actually, now that I look... I see that the lock tool was hidden in plain sight in the right-side tool bar all this time... so I guess this might be basic knowledge, I guess I must have seen it when I first started using APCD, but I dont remember ever trying to use it.
