yocker,
You have to assign a .l3 (ani file) to a player, whether it's a human player or an AI player. See screenshot below. The area circled in green are the ani files and the Select Player drop down is your list of Players.

That's fine, Yocker4. We're here to help!

And don't forget to drop by LSPN.net to see what's available there. Everything is free now.

Hi, I've got a question, not played Links for a few years, I've got hundreds of anis and courses, when I try and play all the courses are there but non of the anis, been that long, I know where they "live" but can't get links to find them, think I've changed drives since I last played.
It seems like the application is on my e:drive but all my ani's, course and hundres of club sets are on a different drive, does that matter?
If that is the case how come my courses all come up?
Any help would be much appreciated
Cheers

Courses can be manually added to the "Course Manager" in Links without the course files being placed in any specific folder or drive. Anis on the other hand, as far as I know, need to be in the correct folder. Try putting them directly into the Links 2003\PolyAni folder, I imagine it wouldnt work if they are not in the same drive as your main Links 2003 folder. Anis ( .L3 files) are not to be confused with "Players" - you need to assign an animation to a Player within Links to see it. Players ( .PIN files) tend to be in the C:\ProgramData\Links 2003\Players folder, or at least mine are, but maybe exchange the C: for whichever drive you have your main Links folder in.
