Hi Sage.

I'm looking forward to this one. I played there on a N.C. golf trip about 5 years ago and loved the course. I appreciate all of your hard work in producing the courses we all enjoy.

Thanks,
Andy

Sage,

My favorite course in Pinehurst area was THE PIT. It can't be done now because Pinehurst Country Club Bought the land. Then they destroyed it. I figured it was to much competition for them.

Back in the 80's and 90's we would go to pinehurst area and play "the pit" every year for 15 years. Then it got sold. Other great courses we played was Little River, Another Maples course. That course is now gone. Woodlake was another complex with a Palmer course and Maples course. They too were closed.

I should quit going to courses I love. I'm baaaad luck.

Of the many golf courses that have closed in my lifetime, Marsh Harbor in the Myrtle Beach area was my favorite!

Other than the elevation, the layout is the same. Can't tell about the green slopes! They were crazy good. :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :cheers1:
