You won't be able to do this with a real private course but If a tournament is coming to your area and it's a course that's "on your bucket list" then get a ticket for the Tuesday and Wednesday practise rounds:
1. There are fewer fans to contend with and,
2. They're cheaper (and in the case of Shaughnessy, ahelluvalot cheaper!)
Given the schedule of the PGA and LPGA, their course rosters pretty much set (except for majors and LPGA & Senior Canadian Opens that aren't restricted to the GTA), but the Seniors and Korn Ferry may provide some variety.
