Australian courses

Royal Sydney is in the final planting stage and, then with some tidying up, am confident of releasing a beta version within the next month. Royal Sydney was the home of the 2016 Australian Open, won by Jordan Speith. Its currently undergoing a major reno IRL, so this will be a version for posterity.

Also hope to be able to release NSW Golf Club very quickly after that, a beautiful oceanside course also located in the Sydney metropolitan area. This course is generally considered to be in Australia's top-10 courses. Am really enjoying working on this one!

Both courses are based on a 2M DEM - thanks to Linkster.

Would give them both up in a heartbeat if I could get a DEM of both courses at Barnbougle (Tasmania) - see below - now considered one of the world's finest courses. But can only get half a course - so will keep checking back hoping that the Tasmanian government will get their act together.

Thinking that whilst I've got the APCD hunger back, may as well focus on Australian courses.

Here's the Royal Sydney clubhouse (almost finished). That's the first tee to the right.

The work that must have went into that clubhouse and surrounds makes my head spin.... :scared: Truly astonishing stuff Colin.
Really super excited to see some Oz courses getting done. Looking forward to both RS and NSW.
Barnbougle would truly be an amazing addition to the course library, but like Doak's other masterpiece at Tara Iti I don't know whether you could capture all the character and nuances of either with the APCD. Still, one has to live in hope..
For me, the two great Aussie courses missing from Links are Kingston Heath and to a slightly lesser extent Royal Adelaide. One day.
Looking forward to teeing it up at RS and NSW !

I love Australian courses - very excited for this/these!

About Kingston Heath - AJ Allen was working on that one (along with Capital GC). Im still hoping - and believing - that he will come back and finish them one day

Fantastic clubhouse Colin, the number of designer's may be few and far between but the quality work being put out makes up for that :cheers1:

Hi Sage.. Tara Iti is in a holding pattern ATM... I may go back to it one day, or not. You are more than welcome to do the course if the data is available
