Help with a pano

Post by sagevanni »

Hi everyone,
For reasons I won't go into except to say windows OS sucks. As time goes on my system just gets worse and worse. I can get a basic course with seam blends but beyond that I'm at a standstill. It's just the way it is. I'm sick and tired of trying to make things work.

That said I need a pano for "Industry Hills Golf Club - Eisenhower Course".

I don't know what to think about Windows 11 - I don't have it, but I've read a lot of complaints. I did take drastic action with Windows 10, though. I turned off Windows Updates after reading reports of the troubles the updates were causing, and my system has been stable for over a year. Apparently, the new hierchary at Microsoft thinks Windows is more important than the programs the users have been using for years.

I'm using 10 and will never use another version of windows. I also have updates and a lot of other CRAP turned off or disabled. Still what I have left is crap. I've reinstalled 10 multiple times with never a good result. I have given up.

I love designing and real courses are GREAT but I can go no further than that. I can not plant. It bogs my system to the crashing point.

I will make my courses open and available to anyone who wants to complete the planting process.

Other than that I'm still gonna make the basic courses.

Anyone who wants can PM me or email me. sagevanni2010@hotmail.com

Just wondering. Could it be the system itself, and not the Operating System? Things wear out, drives get clogged.

I have a 1 terabyte HD and am using 200 gigs...............not clogged up.

Nothing I have EVER tried has ever made an improvement on a post windows 7 OS.

Not wasting my time anymore trying to make something that is an utter failure work well.

It is what it is.

Sage, bummed to hear ur system is not running APCD well, I struggled w that until this latest build. I had my son build me a low-end desktop gaming system for $1400, which is pretty good when you analyze the specs and compare it to off the shelf systems. It just rocks, I've put in over 100hrs of APCD time on Colonial and Harding Park since my post back a few months and have not had a single crash. my old laptop and desktop would crash once in awhile, but not one on this. I'm running Windows 11. When Winged Foot crashed at the end and said it was corrupt, I was done forever w the APCD. when things run smoothly, it makes all the difference. I disagree on ur post re RAM, the more the better. Heres my stuff, hope this helps
