Hi everyone,
I will be uploading Oak Hill - East very soon. It will be a beta, as it is an upgrade of Animal's original. He gave me his blessing a few month's back and it is very close to being ready. Eventually I think I may get the DEM from linkster if there is data available with the updates. Anyway, here are a few pics for now.

Re: Coming soon
Very nice looking course Braden. I will look forward to playing a round or two.
Re: Coming soon
Yery excited to playing this with the PGA right around the corner. This looks great. I see that you've swapped holes 5 and 6. Actually a new par 3. I'm guessing that you're taking the pond on 15 out to be replaced with a collection area. The new bunker work looks great. I'm guessing that you added the new hole handicaps with the advice of Adalade on how to do it. And the panarama and buildings really make a nice difference. Thanks for doing this so we can play along with the Tournament. Oh yeah, I like the textures too.

Daniel, Chuck, Thank you. The textures are from Rob Miller, so the course will be locked. It plays alright but I am not sure about accuracy, I have depended on DEM's for so long that doing a course that did not come from one is a little different. Not sure where Sean got his data from, but like I said it is playable and I did try to incorporate as many of the changes made in the redesign as possible. I'm going to send the beta to Andy tonight.

Thanks Glenn for all your hard work on the update! It looks really good. I'm excited to play some of the changes like the new par 3 5th hole and the 15th with no pond. If I remember (god, was it like 12 years ago?!?) I downloaded a DEM but I think it was only a 10m one, the most accurate I could get at the time. Then, I went to the PGA in 2013 at Oak Hill and took tons of photos, so that's where the elevation came from. Too bad they moved it to May or I might go again....who knows maybe for the weekend rounds. Til then I'll enjoy your Links version Glenn!

Thanks Sean,
They moved a lot of dirt during the renovation, but I think the file should be pretty aggreable for most.

Wow this is a nice surprise! I didn't think we would get to play along on the new Oak Hill for this year's PGA Championship!
A hi-res DEM for the Oak Hill restoration is a no-go. The area was LIDAR surveyed in 2018 and the USGS finally released the DEM back in March, but it doesn't capture the restoration from 2019/2020. Oak Hill may get surveyed again at some point but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it.
