You should still be able to start unaltered Links by using LinksLauncher.exe and/or LinksMMIII.exe in your main Links director/folder. Start a Pro Distance Mod version of Links with the aforementioned LinksPD.exe (in your main Links director/folder) or the new version of LinksMMIII.exe (in LinksPD subdirectory/folder).

thank you very very much for your detailed answer. Now that I'm reading this I can remember (you're getting older) why I didn't install it years ago. Since this mod is a 2.1V, it cannot be used online with 1.07V players, links ask for it.
I'll try it out alone. I've also read that he should do better in champ or elite, champ is hard for me to play, if you get into trouble it's very difficult to get out of it.
This wasn't one of your questions, but it may affect your decision to install the Pro Distance Mod - "[t]he distance increase only applies to the Classic Swing. It will not increase the distance for Real Time Swing or Powerstroke." The developer says that this along with the fact that it doesn't work for computer players are known issues with the mod. As it was released in July 2008 and the website was last updated in August 2008, I don't expect any future updates (who knows?).

The putter is probably the same as in V1.07?
