Sorry if I offended you, Nico, I didn't mean to be so harsh, but #11 green is notorious for it's extremes. A lot of the more knowledgible golfers - Jack Nicklaus included - aim their approach shot at a spot to the right of the green because of the way shots react with excessive roll when hit directly at the green. Linkster's fringe change allows a player to bounce a drawn ball on to the green to reduce the pace of it's roll. A fairway wood probably wouldn't work for that kind of shot, though.

Augusta Pin placement 2023

Hi guys,

Yesterday I motivated myself to share with you what I think (unless I'm mistaken) of the 2023 flag positions.

I send them to you during the day.

But, why can't I find anything on Saturday's positions, the 3rd round :scared: ...

I know there have been thunderstorms, rain, tournament stopped then restarted etc etc.

But these positions did exist, right?

Why can't I find anything on these positions :surrender: ?? Thanks.

Crash at 12 !

Hi all,

I know you have already talked about this crash at 12 but do you know if a solution has been found?

Fot your information, It's happened yesterday in practice mode when i wanted to move my ball from tee to green manually on 12th Hole.

I restarted several times but crashed again.

I take this opportunity to say that I have trained and that I have nothing more to "criticize" on hole number 11, finally the idea of rolling the ball is really very relevant.

The only small frustration (tiny) is that I can't reach the 8th green in 2 using the powerstroke mode but I imagine that even pro golfers don't necessarily get there so I'm happy with it given the enormous amount of work that has been done on this course.

I get the same error on 12. I have created the error on purpose many times. If I hit continue the game comtinues with no problems.

There is a new updated version available for this year. It should have addressed most of the issues discussed in this thread. Pin positions are all redone in this version with tournament pins as 0 to 5 with 0's being Sunday pin positions.

:cheers1:

I was just going back through this thread and for the first time happened to see nico's amazing shot on 11. But I had no idea you could create shot trails (like are shown on golf broadcasts). Is that just something that can be created on you tube or is it possible in the game?

Oh, and Linkster; awesome, awesome job!
