LVT - New Release
LVT - New Release
In playing a season, I noticed unusual scores and have found a scoring bug. I will be working to fix that, then let you know when a new version is ready.
Re: LVT - New Release
Hi Mike:
Have you seen this-will it affect anything on your side?
Note-they're saying that the tournaments could change from year to year.
I figure that if there's a little problem with the program, this might make it bigger:
Anyway this was just announced last week by the PGA:

and there's something else:

Seriously though, I don't think that would be an issue for any Linksters but I thought you'd want to know-although I'm willing to bet that you knew about this already!

Re: LVT - New Release
In addition to that PGA move. I have some nitpicks as long as you're doing a revision I'll try to get them to you tomorrow. It's 9:30 out here so I'm thinking that you've gone to bed anyway.
Most of them involve courses (although I know-and appreciate the flexibility I thought that I might as well show you or make comments).
I don't know how many Linksters have started their "careers" and how/if they'll react, but since it's an "individual" programme nobody will (should) complain but prepare to be nitpicked anyway.

I'll send you a PM. Believe me, if you weren't already making adjustments then I wouldn't be nitpicking and I know that we can "doit ourselves" but for those who haven't started this might be interesting,

Re: LVT - New Release
WE GOT MEXICO - and some more from the Caribbean!
I'd be more than willing to work on an LPGA and/or Canadian and/or other tours on the PGA website.
Just say the word!

Word of Warning-I'm not sure whether or not the Canadian Tour pays it's prize money in C$!

Re: LVT - New Release
It's not my fault, but the Barracuda tournament is Modified Stableford.
Just thought I'd warn you...
Also there's a TPC Twin Cities-it's in Minnesota...I flunked geography...

...and I was wrong about Summerlin...I mentioned that you shouldn't be drinking...

Re: LVT - New Release
BTW-for any Real BETA the Nitpicker always sends his Nits via PM and they're always done with respect-they're usually concerning scenery since I don't know a VERT from a HORIZONTAL.
In case any new designers were concerned.

Re: LVT - New Release
Thanks for the updates, especially about the Stableford scoring.
I have code for that from GBVC that I will incorporate into LVT.
