I recommend checking out the Readme for more information about the project history (among other things), but let me just summarize the brief overview: Sage started this course over two years ago and got pretty far along but didnt finish it. He made it from scratch, not from any previous versions of this course. I recently asked if he still had it and if I could complete it, Sage welcomed it, and now it is complete!

Le Golf National is a real parkland course in France, Guyancourt, almost right between the south-west outskirts of Paris and the farmland countryside. Alongside Valderrama, it just might be the most famous and prolific course in all of mainland Europe, having hosted Open de France 28 times since 1991 (including the one that happened just now in 2022 September 22-25), having hosted the Ryder Cup in 2018, and scheduled to be the host for golf in the 2024 Summer Olympics.

In just a couple of days this has become one of my favorite courses ever. Normally, I do not play the same course twice, but this time I could not control myself. The variety of holes, the many water hazards, and the challenge keep calling me back.
