How do you set water to add penalty strokes

Inside the APCD, when you're entering the Properties of the Water Texture, you click on the "Hazard" checkbox. That tells the program that your ball in in a Hazard, and the program knows that when a ball is in a hazard, it needs to go to the "ball drop" routine. As far as adding a stroke is concerned, the program knows to add a stroke. Ok?

Things don't work the same in practice mode. For example, you can hit a ball into a water hazard and it will not count the same as it would if you were not in practice mode. Usually the game will allow you to land on the water and then hit from there with no penalty. Try playing in standard game mode and see if that corrects your issue.

Let us know if that's whats going on.

Best wishes,

Dan

If you would like to use Practice Mode but have it work more like normal play, put a check mark in the "Enforce normal drop rules" box near the bottom of the screen.

But if you like to play out of the water, or from the balcony of the clubhouse...
Actually when I nitpick I like to "roam"-that's one way that you can really appreciate the work the APCD'ers have done on the clubhouse.
And nobody has found the "surprise" at Lambton yet. :naughty:
