Thanks Leo. I will upload as a alpha/beta when I get the planting finished so if there is anyone interested they can check it out while i mess around with the 3d work ( bridges, clubhouse, etc). Although on past experience, unless you are a noted designer or the course is a tour course or a famous course you don't get much feedback, lol. Anyway, we'll see how it goes.
Cheers

Wholly cow, that bunker in screenshot screen0007sm.jpg looks fantastic. Can't wait for this course to be done!
It really is excellent. A lip, with sand splashed on it. Very realistic, almost Mikejonesian.

Loblolly 9 starting to take shape. While not as dramatic as the Sherling and Canyon 9's, it has some interesting holes.
Here is a view from the 1st tee and a view looking towards the 9th green.
If I find time to tidy up a couple of greens I hope to have an alfa version of the Sherling and Canyon 9's up by next weekend.

Are you putting a ring of rough around greens, or a ring of fringe? Comparing it to real life, I've always found grass that I can use either a putter or a chipping club - but if you are using rough the player will not be able to use a putter. That seems strange to me. In the 50 years that I've been playing golf, I can't think of any course that has had rough where fringe grass is usually placed. Just wondering...

Hi Pete,
I am not sure what you mean? The Greens have a fringe and then rough.

Oh. My bad. I was going by the color and thinking that it was a different flavor of rough.
