I would love a tutorial on how to edit the ANI's reactions (mostly to remove most or perhaps even all reactions), I think there was mention about it a while back but I dont think anything finalized came out?
Adelade,
Every ani I've ever created has minimal reactions. I found a reactions amount I really liked and went back through every single ani and fixed them to include the minimal reactions. With that being said, I also know how to remove all the reactions if you prefer that. Just hit me up on a PM and I can walk you through it. With your IT knowledge it will be a breeze for you.
I'm also getting ready to create a topic explaining the anatomy of the ani, which will cover everything from A-Z that I've learned over the last two years.

JC : You've made far more than a minor contribution to the Links community by undertaking such a HUGE project as creating all the great ANI's. Also by creating an all NEW
Animasters site that, so far, looks terrific and has everything anyone could want. One thing I DO want to ask you, though:
Could you suggest the best ANI to use to be able to assemble a "custom" wardrobe of ANY apparel ( from hats to shoes, shirts, pants ). One that has as
many of each article of clothing ( such as 10-12 shirts, 8 pants, 6 hats, 6-7 shoes ) that so a Links player can kind of "create" their own wardrobe for the ANI ? I guess I'm not really a
fan of the "outfits" that some of the ANI's have that are pre-chosen. ( Sometimes they almost clash in colors, etc. ) I know that different ANI's have different amounts one can choose from. The one you made expressly for me has maybe 8 shirts and 4 pants, 2 shoes ). I know I'm probably not being very clear on all this but, hopefully, you get what I mean.
Thanks for all you've done...............Weeler
Ron,
The simple answer is yes. You will probably want to use one of the more recent anis I created as they have the most textures. If you are wanting the hat with long pants ani I could create you a base model with tons of textures that you can run wild with. Like I mentioned to Adelade, be on the lookout for my A-Z brain dump on all things anis that I'm getting ready to create. It will take some time to get everything covered, but my hope is that anyone with minimal IT knowledge will be able to create their own anis or at least modify the textures and body types.
As for the anis with outfits vs the ability to mix and match, keep in mind that the PGA anis are 100% about authenticity. I use the exact same pants, shirts, hats and outfits that the players use in tournaments when I create those so I set them up as outfits. However, with a simple adjustment of the Script.txt file you can customize the crap out of the ability to mix and match stuff.

I've been working on an ani with Joggers. Like them or hate them, more and more PGA players are wearing them. Akshay Bhatia is the first golfer I've created with them. Check out the pics below.

JC,
A few more to tkink about:
Adam Hadwin
Eric Cole
J. T. Poston
Stephan Jaeger
Thomas Detry
Tom Hoge
Kevin Kisner
Thank you very much, Jim
Jim,
Hopefully you aren't disappointed with this, but I've knocked out the below anis. I won't be doing anymore until September when I possibly create what I need for the 2025 season of my replay. In all honesty, I hope I don't have to create anymore anis except for the ones I create for my replay each year. I am updating the 34 anis that used the old visor model (D01 David Toms) so they will use my new version of the visor model, but after I complete those my ani production will come to a halt for the foreseeable future. I'll let the group know when I complete the visor ones in case anyone is interested. These are all on my site for anyone that wants to download them.
Sepp Straka
Nicolai Hojgaard
Robert MacIntyre
Kevin Kisner
Cameron Davis
K.H. Lee
Mito Pereira
Sebastian Munoz
Tom Kim
Si Woo Kim
Nick Dunlap
Jake Knapp

Big Sexy,
I am not disappointed at all. You have created a great many Ani's that I am using. Enjoy your tournament like I enjoy mine.

Well gents I just finished up the below 34 anis. 28 of them redone using the S01 visor and 6 of them using the S01 without a hat. All of these are older players with the most recent being in the early 2000s, but the no hat guys are all early 80s. This completes my ani project of getting every ani it's own body type in Maya and using the S01 ani model. This more than likely retires me from ani creation with the exception of the players I need for my replay each September. It's been fun. I've learned a lot. I'm a bit ashamed to say this, but it might be the largest project I've ever taken on and completed in my life. Almost 3 years in total.
S01 Visor Anis
Bob Tway
Brett Quigley
Chip Beck
Darren Clarke
David Frost
Don Pooley
Donnie Hammond
Fred Couples
Freddie Jacobson
Gene Sauers
Gil Morgan
Jeff Sluman

Ken Green
Kenny Perry
Larry Mize
Loren Roberts
Paul Azinger
Peter Jacobsen
Raymond Floyd
Scott Simpson
Steve Elkington
Steve Jones
Steve Pate
Stuart Appleby
Tim Herron
Tom Kite
Vijay Singh
S01 No Hat Anis
Andy Bean
Ben Crenshaw
Bruce Lietzke
Lanny Wadkins
Tom Purtzer

I always wanted to create a new David Toms because the original one just wasn't very good. Check.
I always wanted to create a better Mike Weir to replace the balding one without a hat. Check.
I've been wanting to use Maya to improve the body type for the John Daly I created pre-Maya. Check. Check.
I actually created a 1990s John Daly version and a current day John Daly version and left the 2010 version that the animasters created alone. That gives us multiple John Daly options. Neither of mine have a hat.
Pics of all of them below.

Hello sir, totally enjoy using your custom made anis, however I cannot find Rory McILroy. Is it on your new site?
Anyway thanks again for giving the game new life.
Regards,
g3b (Gil)

The original Animasters created Rory so I never created one myself. However, after winning the grand slam I will be making my own version of a Rory ani in September when I do my 2025 season. You can use the animasters in the meantime or hold out until September.

Gil,
Good catch. Thanks for the heads up. I've uploaded a new Aaron Rai zip file and it actually contains the .L3 ani file.
