Shadow files are created when a course is played for the very first time. Once the first .SHA file is written for each course, it will not be written again for that course unless you delete that courses .SHA file. So the longest load time for each course will always be the very first time that you play a course. The length of time it takes the first SHA file to be written is determined by how many objects that course contains that produce shadows.
