I don't remember who or which tournament but I had an issue at #14 when I hit my approach under a TV tower and was said to have landed in an unplayable lie and charged a penalty shot for my drop. I would like to file a protest, I don't know how to screenshot it or I would have.
Started the round well enough, birdie at #1, #3, #8 & #9 to go out in 31, back nine started with another birdie, bogey at #11 after driving into the sand, out of sand into the rough when I chunked it, approach shot into the sand right of the green, a couple of pars and then the bogey above at #14, missed a makeable birdie putt at #15, birdie from 3 feet at #16, par at #17, par after going thru the green at #18 to come back in in 35 for a 31-35=66 4-under par start. 13 fairways, 10 greens, 23 putts, pretty good off the tee, was loose with too many approach shots and made a bunch of scrambling pars.

I decided to play a practice round on my Linux desktop, set the same conditions, but didn't set the pins and did a +1. Tis a fickle game.

Hi Des, have you tried adjusting the Mouse Swing Sensitivity? (RTS)
and BTW, if you don't have one, I have the Links 2003 Manual available for download.

Thomas,
I have looked at that and for the driver it is 170+ kph
Thanks for the manual offer. I have it in both hardcopy and softcopy.
I think the problem is the player :)

Also known as U.E.D. - User Error on Device.
It is often the underlying problem with computer issues.

That would be me, but can't remember which tournament.
