Well despite missing the cut, Tiger said I could play after the players all finished their rounds, in retrospect I should have left for Florida.

The greens kind of had me for lunch today, lip outs at the first 3 holes led to a 5 over start thru 3 holes, missed greens and too many 3 and 4 putts, went out in 43, limped home in 41 for a +13, 84 today. 9 fairways, 8 greens, 33 putts.

I hope to play better tomorrow!

2026 Genesis Invitational - 4th Rd Pin Positions

Final round at The Genesis open and what a rollercoaster round it was. Started off good with a bird on the 1st hole and like usual it fell apart after that. Couple of double bogies a bird few bogies and was 3 over at one point with the round looking like a disaster. Then came the fade on 14 for an easy bird, the putt on 15 to save par, the sand bird on 16, the chip in eagle on 17 and the approach on 18. You can do the math….

You could have used some of the shots we've seen today!

Couldn't get a flight to Florida so i stuck around Riviera to see if I could sneak in a 4th round there. Tiger wasn't happy to see me there after yesterday's performance, but he said if I could get Adam Sandler and Tom Brady to let me into their group I could play after the pros were finished.
I started the front nine with 3 pars, chipped in for birdie at 4, made 3 straight birdies (36, 5, 10 feet) before a bogey at 9 when I drove into the sand, came up short with my approach and missed a makeable par putt to go out in 33. Back nine started with more putting woes, drove to the left of the 10th green with a 3 wood, approach to 5 feet, missed that putt and the one that followed it for a disappointing bogey, missed another short putt at 11, made only birdie of the back nine on 14 with a 10 footer, bogeyed 15 when I couldn't get out of the trap by the green, limped home in 38 for an even par 71. Onto Florida!

Even though my results are not what i would like, I am enjoying Links again!
