I have played a quick round on my Notebook with the DDrawCompat wrapper and my desktop with an Nvidia GT1030.

It played well on both machines, you can get some tough putts, I played it at MC/MC.

I can see the Links type of course inspiration.

I need to now take a closer look at the course.

I've now played the course under Linux and it played fine there as well, so there appears to be now system problems.

I've also walked the course.

It is a very minimalist look, in keeping with the Links course inspiration. I did manage to find all of the "tees".

There are certainly enough bunkers, there is some wispy grass in some and I guess they are designed to look a bit unkempt, that is the impression I got, again I would think it is in keeping with the Links style the designer (Doak) was going after.

I had a good look at the greens they really do have some slopes on them, they look to be the real challenge on the course given the pretty generous fairways.

The greens are where I found the problems to be, given I had far more putts than I would normally expect to have during my test rounds. I played the course at MC/MC in all of my test rounds

I have not seen anything I am really concerned about in my poking around.

Thanks Des,
As per the greens, were there any APCD technical issues or just them being difficult?

Yeah, I tried to make the course close to the unkempt look as in most of the images online.

Thanks for the input.......

Sage,

No technical issues with the greens, just difficult at the settings I was using, although still playable.
