A very valid point. May aim for 5 or so yards of playable. Will also be making sure it's the heavy rough texture that is affecting the shot and not the planted grass. Played a few courses recently where the grass properties have been overdone in my opinion. For me the planted grass is just for the look I want and not to add to the penalty
