If you want to finish it yourself, even if you dont know when that might be, you are of course completely free to hold onto it. That being said, if you want, I can certainly see to finishing it up and releasing it (with you as the listed designer). In that case, you can send it to
ade89lade@hotmail.com, or upload it to this site as a new beta, or give me a dropbox / mega link or such.

That's a generous offer. Happy for you to have a crack at finishing it, so I'll email the latest version to you.

I have looked at lidar data availability for a lot of courses in Great Britain, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. GB has practically full coverage of lidar data, Scotland has large areas of coverage but numerous holes, and Ireland coverage is limited to rivers and waterways for flood modelling. There is likely more lidar data out there if you have connections and $$$, which I have neither.
Muirfield - Yes (2009)
Royal Portrush - Only 1 hole partially covered
Royal Birkdale - Yes (2022) but recent changes ahead of 2026 Open
Royal Liverpool - Yes (2022)
Prestwick / Royal Troon - Yes (2009) Partial 2019 coverage
The Renaissance Club - No (2009 has a hole in coverage and caught the course under construction)
Kingsbarns - Yes (2021) I hope to get around to doing this course some day!
St Andrews - Any course in the area has fully coverage
Give me a shout if anyone is interested in taking on a course.
